What Trust Pods does

Trust Pods is a digitalized word-of-mouth introduction service that makes word of mouth easy and trackable. When a business or its representative you have already worked with refers you to a partner business for an out-of-scope issue, we deliver that referral, inform you of any discount included, and keep you and the referring business updated on its status. That is the whole of our role.

What Trust Pods is not responsible for

The partner business is an independent company and is not associated with Trust Pods. It, not Trust Pods, is responsible for the estimate it gives you, the work it performs, its pricing, its scheduling, its licensing and insurance, the conduct of its people, and anything that results from the work. By using this platform, you agree to hold Trust Pods harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the partner business’ services. Trust Pods does not perform, supervise, inspect, guarantee, or warrant any work, and is not a party to whatever agreement you and that business reach.

We do not endorse a partner beyond the fact that a business and its representatives chose to refer them. Please do your own diligence, check licensing, insurance, and reviews, exactly as you would with any contractor.

Your discount

If applicable, the discount is offered by the referred business and will be honored by that business on qualifying work, but only on jobs that come through this Trust Pods referral. It is not available by contacting the business directly, cannot be combined with other offers unless the business says so, and depends on the referral link still being valid and unexpired.

What we share

Only after you review the referral and explicitly choose to opt in and request an estimate do we share the contact details and job description you provide, including any photos or video you attach, with the referred partner business and the technician who referred you, so they can reach you about the job. We do not sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Disputes about the work

If something goes wrong with the job, raise the issue with the partner business first; the vendor which performed the work is responsible for resolving any problems. If that does not work, you can contact the licensing authority for your local jurisdiction, and you can file a claim under the insurance of the business. You can tell us at dev@trustpods.io so we can look into the referral itself; we may ultimately stop referring to a partner, but we cannot resolve or mediate a dispute between you and that vendor. Trust Pods bears no liability for refunds, property damage, or subpar workmanship.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect is the one shown when you request an estimate, and the date above tells you which that is.
